After a ten-year career in commercial real estate finance, I decided to apply my experience in the real estate industry to help employers find the perfect match with employees that can grow with their businesses. After graduating from Penn State with a B.S. in Finance, I began my career on the east coast with Duff & Phelps in their Real Estate Valuation and Consulting practice before moving into the private equity side of the real estate business with Lubert-Adler Real Estate Funds. Attracted by the robust commercial real estate industry in Southern California, I moved to San Diego where I worked for BioMed Realty and their fully-integrated platform focused on leasing, development, construction, redevelopment, acquisition, financing and property management for life science space. I am actively involved in the local real estate community through organizations such as NAIOP, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and currently serve on the board of NAIOP. My passion for providing the resources to enable job seekers to land the career of their dreams and get back into the workforce has also been satisfied through my creating and presenting resume and interview programs for various universities and community organizations. Every day I get to work with people that I respect and believe in in an industry that I know and love.

With separate backgrounds in recruiting and commercial real estate, I combined my areas of expertise and joined forces with Building Careers in a consulting capacity to help leading real estate organizations find and retain top tier employees that add value to their team. After graduating from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Sociology, I began recruiting for the local division of Cypress HCM, a national technology and marketing recruiting firm headquartered in the tech epicenter of San Francisco. Quickly gaining traction, I helped build out the San Diego office and contributed significant financial success. Intrigued by San Diego's active commercial real estate market, I pivoted industries and contributed my Marketing and Business Development knowledge to Burger Construction, a premier San Diego based commercial tenant improvement contractor. I am actively involved with San Diego's local real estate organizations and currently serve on the NAIOP San Diego Developing Leaders Council. My passion for people and their personal and professional success drives my daily recruiting and professional services efforts.
