Business Development Manager
A leading real estate development company focused exclusively on development, acquisition, and management of healthcare real estate and senior living communities is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Business Development Manager to support the Company’s healthcare business development efforts by helping the Company grow its pipeline and creating a steady flow of development opportunities and develop the leads into successful projects/facilities.
Understand, segment, and target key clients to generate qualified leads for new projects
Apply learnings about key clients (e.g., physician groups, hospitals, healthcare providers of outpatient services, insurance companies that employ physicians, national specialty physician groups, etc.;) to identify outreach targets, improve marketing campaigns, enhance talking points and presentations.
Set weekly, monthly and quarterly outreach goals for various strategic marketing campaigns and communicate results to the business development team.
Execute strategic marketing campaigns to create meetings for the business development team and grow the firm’s development pipeline, targeted outreach, cold and warm calling, lead generation, and other appropriate means and methods.
Learn about the healthcare real estate development industry.
Manage and nurture relationships that are longer term in nature and are not related to an immediate transaction – periodically check in, escalate relationships where necessary.
Work with Marketing department to prepare blogs, media information, etc. with the purpose of broadening Company’s reputation and creating additional leads and opportunities.
Participate in key business development meetings.
Participate in business development meetings, presentations, marketing activities, and sales strategy meetings as required.
Arrange meetings with clients and Company executives, ensure alignment of purpose of discussion, and participate in meetings as required.
Lead efforts to source RFPs/RFQs:
Lead the effort to source RFPs/RFQs and ensure that Company receives the opportunity to consider an RFP/RFQ response
Identify where RFP/RFQs that are being issued – timing, key relationships, competitors, etc.
Monitor and manage the data of new opportunities nationally;
Manage Company’s Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”) process
Track new opportunities within the CRM to ensure alignment on approach for each potential deal
Continuously evaluate pros/cons of existing CRM vs. implementation of new tools
Identify opportunities to improve bus dev process using CRM
Experience: 3-5 years of experience selling products/services/real estate with a proven track record of success and commensurate CRM management

Work style that coincides with a successful sales role -personable, articulate, and motivated. Has proven they can sell over the phone and web-based interfaces. Ability to find opportunities through networking, creative research, and perseverance.
Able to glean information from key contacts that those contacts may not share with others.
Experience in healthcare is beneficial, but not required.
