Junior Project Manager
San Diego, CA
A local commercial general contractor with an emphasis on office and medical tenant improvement projects is looking for a Jr. Project Manager to join their growing team. The Jr. Project Manager will be responsible for developing the project budget, supervising subcontractors, working closely with a PC and Superintendent, labor schedules, and cost performance using computer-aided project planning tools Microsoft Projects. They will ensure the timely completion of each Project to the satisfaction of the client.
Responsibilites
Estimating and Create a Project Budget:
Manage the Project inside the Budget and established timeline
Create a realistic, reasonable timeline that will be met
Manage Project:
Work with Supervisor to oversee staff and subcontractors on the Project
Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress & cost tracking reports weekly
Understand and manage construction materials
Track Project progress against budget weekly. Report any anomalies within 24 hours to office.
Manage Client Expectations:
Ensure clear communication as to who owns financial responsibility in resolution with complaints and construction problems before implementation of solutions.
Get the Project done on time.
Report job delays in a timely and professional manner.
