A life science real estate development company backed by institutional and global development experience combined with first-hand biotech knowledge is looking for a Senior Analyst to be part of their asset management team. The team leverages cross-sector collaboration to deliver environments that foster innovation and scientific breakthroughs and create innovative spaces to foster life-changing technologies.
The Senior Analyst will support regional Asset Management efforts for the company’s growing portfolio while working closely with the following teams: Acquisitions, Portfolio Management, Debt Capital Markets, Development & Project Management, Equity Capital Markets, Legal, Marketing, and Property Management. The Senior Analyst will contribute to the operation, underwriting, reporting, presentation, and business plan execution for the firm’s real estate investments.


  • Build and maintain detailed and dynamic financial models and cash flows in Excel and Argus for existing portfolio assets to support operational decisions

  • Conduct lease analyses and assist with the lease negotiation process for prospective tenants

  • Review and abstract governing documents, including partnership agreements, loan agreements, leases, or other legal documents

  • Assist in the preparation of investment presentation materials summarizing key investment operating and performance criteria and considerations for review by management team

  • Provide portfolio management support including project level communication with LPs

  • Produce strategic business plans and work with property management team to produce annual budgets and future cashflow projections for portfolio assets

  • Report on property performance, complete quarterly valuations, and evaluate periodic appraisals

  • Maintain up-to-date market research on key real estate fundamentals and transactions in targeted life science markets including lease and sales comparable spreadsheets and maps

  • Become part of a collaborative, multi-functional team


  • 2 - 4 years of experience in an analytically based real estate investment or finance role

  • Advanced Excel underwriting skills and experience using ARGUS Enterprise

  • Strong creative, methodical problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to articulate complex concepts in clear concise and professional manner

  • Unwavering attention to detail and organization; dedicated to excellence in work product and delivery

  • Self-motivation with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment

  • Ability to work effectively with both peers and senior management in a highly entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment
